New Hampshire requires the health insurance you carry to work in-state, and your Saint Anselm address makes you a New Hampshire resident for this purpose. Rather than leaving you to compare dozens of plans, the College chose one that fits students well — the Anthem Bronze Pathway Enhanced.
Prefer to look at alternatives, or already have coverage that works here? That’s fine — the form has a place to tell us, and Joanne will walk you through your options one-on-one.
Come to whichever session fits your schedule. We’ll walk through how your coverage works and answer anything you bring. Can’t make it? Register anyway and we’ll send the recording.
“I’m working with Saint Anselm to make getting covered simple. I’ll prepare your enrollment, answer your questions, and make sure there are no gaps in your coverage. If you’d rather review other options, just ask — I’m here for that too.”
This takes about five minutes. Everything is explained as you go, and Joanne reviews every submission personally.
Depending on your household’s income, you might qualify for a tax credit that lowers your monthly premium. It’s completely optional and won’t hold up your enrollment.
As an international (F-1) student, Joanne will confirm your eligibility individually before any savings are applied.
No — it’s recommended, not required. The Anthem Bronze Pathway Enhanced was chosen because it fits Saint Anselm students well, but if you’d like to compare alternatives, check the box at the end of the form and Joanne will walk you through your options.
If you already have ACA-compliant coverage that works in New Hampshire, you may be able to waive the College plan. Tell us on the form — Joanne will confirm your plan qualifies before you waive, so you won’t be enrolled or charged unless it doesn’t meet the requirement.
Your premium is handled through the College’s program and billed according to the College’s process — you won’t pay the insurance company directly. If you qualify for a tax credit, it lowers that amount.
If your current plan ends July 31, you can choose to start your new coverage on August 1 so there’s no gap. Otherwise, coverage begins September 1, which meets the College’s requirement.
Yes. The enrollment process is the same. Joanne will confirm which savings, if any, apply to your situation individually before you enroll.
Yes. Because you’re a minor, a parent or guardian needs to authorize your enrollment. Add their details on the form and Joanne will follow up with them to complete the authorization.
Yes. Your details are used only to determine your eligibility and set up your coverage, and are shared only with the parties needed to complete your enrollment. They’re never sold, and consent records are kept securely as federal rules require. You can ask Joanne what’s on file for you at any time.
Once you’re enrolled, your insurance ID card arrives by mail within about two weeks. Joanne will confirm as soon as your coverage is active.
